• ​250g butter
• 500g icing sugar
• 1-2 tbsp milk
• 120g cocoa powder

To make buttercream:

• Cut the butter into cubes, place into a mixing bowl and beat until soft.
• Add the icing sugar, cocoa powder, milk then beat until smooth.
• Spread generously over the cooled cake.
