Fiddes Payne was established in 1993.
Originally the business had a very basic
range of herb and spice products which
were mainly sold to the health food, independent and delicatessen trade.
With the growing strength of supermarkets, the company strategy refocused
its creative marketing into this area, and the first supermarket sales
were achieved in September 1998 in Waitrose with an elite range of spice
mills bearing the Mosimann label - a renowned Swiss Chef.
In 1999, Fiddes Payne entered the Home Baking market with the launch of
Royal Icing decorations. Since then, the company's growth has been (and
continues to be) rapid with the introduction of products ranging from
cupcake kits to mini marshmallows. We now supply all supermarket chains
in the UK, and an increasing number in export markets.
